Ingredients

  • 300g plain beef sausage (unseasoned)
    2) 250g short crust or puff pastry
    3) 2 tsp IHOF All Purpose Original seasoning
    4) 1 tsp IHOF Hot Pepper mix
    5) 1 tsp IHOF Garlic Peppers and Herbs
    6) 1 egg for brushing and sealing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F
    2) Remove the sausage from its casing and using a fork, mix in all of the seasonings till combined and set aside
    3) Roll the pastry into two 4 by 12 inch rectangles, place the seasoned sausage at one end of the rectangle (This would give you twelve 2 inch long sausage rolls)
    4) Apply egg wash to the remaining part of the dough until you get to about half of the dough.
    5) Begin rolling dough until the fish filling is completely sealed.
    6) Use a bench scraper or a sharp knife to divide each roll into 6 equal parts. Place divided rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    7) Brush rolls with egg and bake in preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.
